1. Overview
HXGN-12 AC unit metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the unit cabinet), is new generation high-voltage electrical product designed and developed by Dongmeng Company based on the introduction of foreign advanced technology and in accordance with the requirements of domestic rural power network reconstruction, its performance indicators have all reached IEC298 and GB3906 standards after rigorous type testing and assessment of long-term test run. The main switch, operating mechanism and components of the unit cabinet adopts Dongmeng Company VS1 vacuum switch. The cabinet is riveted with imported aluminum-coated zinc plate after CNC machining, protection grade is IP3X, with a reliable mechanical interlock and anti-maloperation functions. This product features small volume, light weight, beautiful appearance, easy operation, long life, high parameter, non pollution, less maintenance, etc.

HXGN-12 AC unit metal-enclosed switchgear is used as receiving and distribution of electric energy in power system with AC 50HZ and 12KV.
3. Service conditions
A. The altitude does not exceed :1000m
B. ambient air temperature: upper limit+40℃
                       lower limit-25℃
C. relative humidity: daily average not more than 95%
                 monthly average not more than 90%
D. ambient air is not contaminated by corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor, etc.;
E. no recurrent severe vibration.

6.4 Overview of the overall structure
6.4.1 Ring Main Unit (RMU) is composed of the enclosure, vacuum switch, grounding switch, instrument cubicle, bus and other electrical components and auxiliary components, the load switch arranged in the middle and upper part of the enclosure that is assembled from aluminized zinc plate after flanging and bending.
6.4.2 RMU three-phase is longitudinal structure arrangement, convenient for three-phase bus connection between the cabinets.
6.4.3 Instrument cubicle is located on the upper part of the RMU, in which the ammeter, voltmeter, switches, indicator lights and other components can be installed, at the bottom of which the terminal board for secondary circuit can be installed.
